Beginning Friday, November 28th, shoppers will have two ways to win prizes totaling $1,250 in Transylvania Bucks when they “shop local” with participating businesses in Transylvania County:
In addition, shoppers can look for a special holiday stocking at 15 participating business locations that have been randomly selected. There will be 5 each week from November 28th until December 19th. (HINT: Look for the “Think Local” logo on the stocking!) No purchase is necessary to participate in the Holiday Stocking Hunt. Shoppers who find one of the holiday stockings will be encouraged to take a “selfie” at the business location for sharing on social media, and then they must return the stocking to the Visitor Center to receive their prize of $50 in Transylvania Bucks.
Limit one stocking per person per holiday season, redeemable at the Visitor Center until 4pm on December 19th.
