Please join us for Coffee Connections on September 27 at 8am at the Historic Railroad Depot! Angela Owen will be speaking about VISION Transylvania.

Angela Owen serves as Executive Director for VISION Transylvania. She is also founder and president of Truventure Enterprises, a leadership development and executive coaching firm that does strategic planning

Angela has years of experience in the business world with international corporations, SMEs and entrepreneurs. She is passionate about living a life of purpose, meaning and success.

Before returning to her roots in Transylvania County, Angela worked for Procter & Gamble where she held a variety of positions in manufacturing operations, business leadership, and human resources. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University, Angela has excellent problem solving and business skills. Additionally, she is an outstanding communicator who speaks with enthusiasm, experience, and a passion to grow and develop people.

Pending completion of a by-law update by the board of directors at their next meeting, Coffee Connections will also act as a Chamber member business meeting for proposal and approval of bylaws changes. There will be a vote of all member attendees.

Note On Parking: There are plenty of spaces at the Historic Railroad Depot. If needed, additional parking is available at the DMV on Commerce Ave. DO NOT park near the warehouses, as these are in constant use and you may be towed.
