Candidates Forum

The Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce is an unbiased, non-partisan organization that hosts the annual Candidates Forum as a community service.  The event, organized by the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee, is designed to provide citizens a unique opportunity to learn more about candidates and their platforms for key local and state races. The races planned for this year are Transylvania County Commissioners, Transylvania County Board of Education, NC Senate – District 48, and NC House – District 113. This event will be provided on a virtual platform with the ability to watch the candidates via a live stream on the Chamber’s Facebook page, or after the event on the Chamber’s YouTube channel or on Comporium’s Cable TV Channel .
