Join us for Business After Hours from 5:00-7:00!

This month’s event will be hosted by Transylvania County Arts Council. For more than 40 years, Transylvania Community Arts Council has been serving and support artists, students, audiences, and other participants in our community through exceptional arts programming, classes, exhibits, and other events. The Arts Council’s major programs include Arts in Schools, which provides Transylvania County students the opportunity to work with practicing artists in their school environment; the Student Arts Academy, which offers week-long summer classes as well as year-round programs for both children and adults at the Arts Council; multiple art exhibitions in the Arts Council’s Gallery each year which feature approximately 450 local and regional artists; and Number 7 Arts.

Number 7 Arts, a program of the Arts Council, began in 1998, and is Brevard’s longest continually operating gallery. Number 7 was designed so that local artists could develop their skills in showcasing, promoting and selling their work, and learning the ins and outs of day-to-day gallery operations, all while continuing to develop their individual artist skills. Locate in the McMinn Building, at 2 West Main Street, Number 7 is currently home to approximately 30 artists, all of whom have passes a thorough jurying process.

Held on the second Tuesday of each month, members come together for an evening networking reception. A brief program includes recognition of the host, announcements, new member introductions and door prizes. This event is ideal for a business or organization who wants to show off its facilities.
