Current Employment Opportunities

Manpower

*Currently looking for one machine operator who will be responsible for set up, adjustments, breakdown, and clean-up of a manufacturing machine. Careful attention to detail is required including reading measurements, gauges, and providing quality control. Organized record keeping is a must. 2+ years of manufacturing and machine operation experience is required. This is a 2nd shift position (2:30pm-11pm) and pay is $12.50. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repetitively. 

*Large manufacturer in the Asheville area is seeking qualified CNC machinists to join their team. The CNC machinist will produce machined parts by operating a CNC machine and maintaining quality and safety standards. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate. The main job duties include:

   Reading work orders, blueprints, engineering plans and specifications

   Loading feed mechanism by lifting stock

   Maintaining specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting

   Maintaining safe operations

   Documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs

   Updating quality logs

 

All candidates must:

Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Be able to pass a drug screen prior to employment. Be at least 18 years of age and have the legal right to work in the United States.
